Biographies
Quinton Corwin
Quinton Corwin is a Young Organist from York, Nebraska. He serves as one of the organists at Bethel Lutheran Church in York and Grace Lutheran Church in Seward. He formerly served at Zion Lutheran Church in Clatonia, NE. The organ was always an instrument Quinton enjoyed listening to growing up, and thus he started learning how the organ worked and how to play it. Quinton took organ lessons with Dr. Blersch at Concordia University in Seward and piano lessons with Angie Zulauf.
Gianna Manhart
Gianna Manhart is an organist from Omaha, Nebraska, and is currently a first year architecture student at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. She studied organ for seven years with Dr. Marie Rubis Bauer and is currently taking lessons from Dr. Christopher Marks. She accompanies for the UNL Newman Center chamber choir, as well as several other Catholic parishes around Omaha.
Augustine Terneus
Augustine Terneus, a homeschooled high school senior, serves as the Young Organists Representative for the Omaha Chapter of the American Guild of Organists. He began learning to play the piano at the age of five, the accordion at the age of six, and the pipe organ at the age of thirteen. With Dr. Marie Rubis Bauer as his instructor, Augustine greatly enjoys his study of organ at St. Cecilia Cathedral. He was honored recently to perform at the Bales Organ Recital Hall at the University of Kansas for a masterclass with Mr. Olivier Latry, a titular organist of the Cathedral of Notre-Dame in Paris. Due to a strong interest in the mechanical marvels of pipe organs, Augustine has been working for the past year as an organ technician intern for Bedient Pipe Organ Company in Lincoln and hopes to build his own organ someday.
Timothy Schreiber
During his time at the University of Kansas, Timothy Schreiber studied a wide variety of music for organ dating from the 16th century until the 20th, from regions such as Germany, France, Spain, and England. Under the watchful guidance of Dr. Michael Bauer, Dr. Kevin Vogt, and Mr. Olivier Latry, Timothy developed a distinct appreciation for early music and a joy for tastefully interpretive hymn-playing. In the spring of 2023 he graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Organ. Timothy currently holds the position of Organist at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in La Vista, Nebraska. Timothy is married to the lovely Lillian Schreiber, and is father to Silas, a boisterous and inquisitive eight-month-old baby.
