Community leader Eric Williams will plan to share information about electric vehicles, charging at home, public charging, and how EVs help to reduce emissions in our communities and slow global climate change. There are federal tax incentives, programs from OPPD, and community groups dedicated to helping people choose an EV as clear, efficient, powerful, affordable transportation.
The Eco Team is encouraging all who have electric or hybrid cars, bicycles, walking poles 🙂 or Metro Passes to give a wave during the presentation for a round of applause!!!
Our own Spencer Pereira will also share about safest bike paths around town and how ORBIT is a great way to leave your car behind! Bring a chair (we will have some set out as well) and stroll through the pollinator garden on your way!!
