Summer Choir is open to anyone, both experienced singers as well as those who have never tried singing in a choir. Directed by Mark Kurtz and accompanied by Marie Meyers, the group sings on Sunday mornings at the 10:50 service during the summer months, with no separate rehearsal time during the week. Since the anthem for the day is rehearsed right before the service, singers may come for as many summer Sundays or as few as they choose, without having to commit to a series of rehearsals. The group meets Sunday mornings (June through August) at 10:00am in the sanctuary. For more information, contact Mark Kurtz, Director of Music Ministries, at 402-556-6262, ext 1021, or mark.kurtz@fumcomaha.org.
