First United Methodist Church gives its prayers and promise of supportive community as a gift to the couple getting married here.

Our Sanctuary holds 600 guests.Mead Chapel holds 90 guests.While we do have rooms to hold wedding receptions, we are a no alcohol and no smoking facility. If you would like more information about holding your wedding reception here, please contact us.The first step to book your wedding is to read through the wedding policies and marriage equality policy. To view a copy of the Weddings Booklet, click here.Then, either call or e-mail the church office to see if the date you want is available. We only book one wedding or event in either the Sanctuary or Mead Chapel per day.If your date is available, the next step is to print out the Couples Information sheet from the Weddings Booklet, complete, and mail to the church office, along with your security deposit.You will receive a copy of the fees' sheet (noting your payment) as your receipt.You will also receive a letter in the mail from the church confirming your wedding and rehearsal dates/times, the name and contact information of the officiating pastor, and contact information for the Director of Music Ministries.If you have any questions, please contact Roberta in the church office at (402) 556-6262, extension 1001 or roberta.coss@fumcomaha.org.To find out how to obtain your marriage license, click here.
