PURPOSE:  The organized unit of United Methodist Women (UMW) shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
 
UMW especially focuses on issues related to women, children and youth.  For information on the National UMW, please visit their website at:  http://new.gbgm-umc.org/umw/.
 
MEETINGS:  All women are welcomed and encouraged to attend any of the UMW meetings. 
 
General Meeting
   First Thursday of January, March, May, September and November

Afternoon Circle
   First Thursday of February, April, July, October and December
   1:00 p.m. in Room 112 – Chair: Dottie Deines
 
Evening Circle
   Second Thursday of January, February and March
   Second Wednesday every month for the remainder of the year
    7:00 p.m. in Room 112
 
Odyssey Prayer Group
    Every Wednesday – 9:30 a.m., Room 107

Members-at-Large
Women who would like to be a member of UMW but cannot participate on a regular basis in any of the above-mentioned groups can be a member-at-large.  We do call on these women from time to time to help with some activities as their schedule allows.
