Racism and gun violence. What’s the connection? That’s what we’re getting together to talk about from 6:30-8pm on Tuesday, October 29th. Does white supremacy (for example, redlining, mass incarceration, school-to-prison pipeline) contribute to gun violence? How about racial hatred (such as white nationalism and related beliefs)? How can we protect communities that are under attack? Join us for States United to Talk About Gun Violence, as our conversation here in Omaha becomes part of the tapestry of gun violence conversations taking place across the nation throughout October.
The event is free, however, we kindly ask all to register through eventbrite.
