Commit to Sit 2018: Introducing Meditation Mondays— A new meditation group will be meeting in Ada Mead Hall from 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm. The time will be broken up into three thirty minute sessions (with a pre-session for beginners):

* Pre-Session, 6:00-6:20 pm: Beginner’s meditation instruction
* 1st Session, 6:30-7:00 pm: 20min sitting meditation, 10min walking meditation
* 2nd Session, 7:00-7:30 pm: 20min sitting meditation, 10min break for tea and fellowship
* 3rd Session, 7:30-8:00 pm: 30min of sharing, discussion, Q&A, and/or teachings

All are welcome, from complete beginners to meditation masters. Come as you are. Come anytime. Come for one or all of the sessions. You do not have to stay the entire time! The purpose of this group is to provide a sacred space to unplug from the stress of daily life, granting you permission to rest peacefully once a week in silence and stillness. The atmosphere will be relaxed and informal, emphasizing practice that is comfortable, pleasant, and enjoyable.
