  • Getting To Know You--This Sunday, May 19, at noon, Pastor Jane invites those interested in membership at First Church to join her for lunch. Get your meal in Cary Hall and then move to room 111 where you'll have the opportunity to talk with Pastor Jane while dining. The luncheon this month is "Breakfast for Lunch" hosted by the United Methodist Women (UMW) and will be served from 9:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. All of the fellowship luncheons are open to everyone and the cost is a free will offering. The proceeds from Sunday's meal will go to United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR).
  • Attend our OmahaGives! Event on Wednesday, May 22, 5:30-6:30 PM at Urban Abbey, 1026 Jackson Street in the Old Market. Please join us for live music, coffee tastings, treat sampling and a special Chemex demonstration. Enjoy this opportunity to relax and support the ministries of First United Methodist Church-Omaha. A station will be available to make an online gift to FUMC via OmahaGives!. Your donation will support the First United Methodist Church's general budget. If you cannot join us at Urban Abbey, you can still partake in the 24-hour OmahaGives! campaign. OmahaGives! is a 100% online ONE DAY giving event. You only have from midnight to midnight on May 22 to make a donation. The non-profit organization that raises the most money will have their donations matched by OmahaGives!.
